At Hope Church Parry Sound, we recognize that God equips each person with a unique combination of gifts, experience, passion, and calling. The job descriptions below outline several areas of ministry need and provide a starting point for understanding the roles we are seeking to fill. However, they are not intended to limit the conversation or define the only ways someone might serve effectively on our pastoral team.
As a small church, we value pastors and ministry leaders who are flexible, collaborative, and willing to serve wherever needs arise. While each position will have a primary ministry focus, it will also include shared pastoral responsibilities and opportunities to contribute to the broader health, care, discipleship, and mission of Hope Church under the direction of the Lead Pastor.
A candidate may identify strongly with portions of a posted role while bringing additional strengths in another area of ministry. We are open to discussing how a position’s responsibilities and emphasis could be shaped around the gifting of the right person while still addressing the needs of our church. If you believe God may be leading you to Hope Church—even if your experience does not align perfectly with one specific description—we would be glad to begin a conversation.
Worship & Discipleship Coordinator
Hope Church Parry Sound is seeking a passionate, spiritually mature, and musically gifted leader to serve as our Worship & Discipleship Coordinator.
This full-time role combines worship leadership and adult discipleship, helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus through meaningful worship experiences, small groups, and spiritual growth opportunities. Working closely with the Lead Pastor, you will lead worship services, develop volunteer teams, support Life Groups, and contribute to the overall pastoral ministry of the church.
Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week (including Sundays and some evenings/events)
Location: Hope Church Parry Sound
Compensation: Based on experience and qualifications
Associate Pastor & Adult Ministry
Hope Church Parry Sound is seeking a spiritually mature, relational, and collaborative leader to serve as our Associate Pastor, Adult Ministry.
This full-time pastoral role focuses on helping adults grow in their faith, connect in biblical community, discover their gifts, and actively participate in the life and mission of the church. Working closely with the Lead Pastor, you will provide leadership in discipleship, Life Groups, pastoral care, teaching, and leadership development.

Kids & Youth Coordinator
Hope Church Parry Sound is seeking a passionate and committed Kids & Youth Coordinator to lead and grow our ministry to children, youth, and families.
This full-time leadership role is ideal for someone who loves helping the next generation build a strong faith, develop meaningful relationships, and become active participants in the life of the church. Working alongside our Lead Pastor, staff team, volunteers, and parents, you will provide vision, leadership, teaching, and care for our children's and youth ministries.
Position: Full-Time, Permanent

Hope Kids Coordinator (1 year contract)
Hope Church Parry Sound is seeking a passionate and organized follower of Jesus Christ to serve as our Hope Kids Coordinator. This ministry leadership role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the Hope Kids Ministry, helping create a safe, engaging, and Christ-centred environment where children can grow in their faith.
Working alongside our pastoral staff and volunteer leaders, the Hope Kids Coordinator will provide leadership, organization, communication, and teaching to ensure our children's ministry is healthy, effective, and aligned with the mission and vision of Hope Church.

Position: Part-Time Hope Kids Coordinator (2-3 days per week)
